Rinoa opened the package carefully, gasping slightly when she saw the bracelet.
"Oh, it's beautiful," she said, holding the little butterflies up to the light. She couldn't help watching the way the light played off the translucent wings for a few moments.
She beamed at her roommate. "Thank you so much," she said. "I love it."
And she was, in fact, already pushing up her sleeve so she could slip it onto her wrist.
